The real threat for war is not oil, it is potash.

By now you may be wondering what is the interest in Russia, Belarus and the Arctic (Especially Canada), is it really oil, is it because of fear of encroachment from NATO or Russia or both on the other?  Or is it something else altogether?   The truth is that the world is running out of something that is quite necessary to feed the world’s population.  It is called potash (or a potassium and other minerals) in mines that have it.  Without potash much of the world’s crops would fail.
